How you can watch American Netflix in the UK - instructions for iphone vpn app

Netflix users in the UK are getting less for their buck compared to US customers, but there's a way to fix it.

An investigation last year showed Brits pay £7.49 for a choice from 3,000 releases, compared to 5,600 films and TV shows for the £7.05 per month the Americans pay.

The good news is you don't really need to suffer with less. Here's how to get more bang (or TV) for your buck.

Until recently I've had no problems accessing TV shows and movies, using the paid Tunnelbear VPN service. Over the past several weeks, I've found myself trying to watch the rest of a movie I had perhaps begun watching the previous day only to get hit with the 'Sorry, this movie cannot be played at this time' message.

Starting the movie or show is no problem: coming back to it is. However, Netflix's own shows, such as Daredevil or Master of None, have no problems at all. They stream absolutely perfectly.

I found one temporary solution: reset Netflix in the System controls, restart the iPad, and sign into Netflix VPN. That worked fine, but just today it's no longer working.

Since Netflix's own commissioned shows have no problem playing, and it's only Hollywood movies that so far do, would I be correct in thinking I'm somehow being blocked from viewing the rest of them? And if so, how was I able to watch the start? Or is it instead something else altogether? Anyone know?
